Episode 28 - Modern Rub-a-Dub

In this episode of The Drum Hang I share with you a fun fill that is an updated and modern application of the Rub-a-Dub sticking. Using groupings of 7 eighth notes (RRLRRLL) this four measure phrase will challenge your ears, hands, and hi-hat foot…can you keep it steady? I am still trying myself! This episode also features a short Greg Hutchinson phrase that uses a fast 5-stroke roll, it easy to learn and a great thing to play on your next gig to light a fire up under the band.
